Description: Participants will learn “Raas Rachat Brij Mein Nandlala”, a treasured composition by Pandit Birju Maharaj, sung in his own evocative voice. Rooted in the refined aesthetics of the Lucknow Gharana, this piece beautifully captures the essence of Krishna’s Raas in Brij, where rhythm meets devotion and movement becomes poetry.

Description: Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to learn and perform “Nritya-Ras” as the opening act to Ragini Maharaj’s performance. “Nritya-Ras” is a celebration of Kathak where rhythm, movement, and expression unite. Blending pure dance and abhinaya, the performance explores the emotional essence of classical art. Beginning with Tarana, followed by Thumri, it invites audiences to experience the soul of dance.
